I'm sure that location has a little to do with it but I am in Mass and I have a group of bucks that come the the back yard every night. Every one of them still has their antlers except for one spike that dropped 1/2. Isn't it a little odd that they are still holding?

I think it has a lot to do with how harsh the Winter is too. In Minnesota, our winter was virtually snow free until a few weeks ago. I've got no pics of bucks personally, but have seen other's still holding bone. Their bodies are robust and healthy also. Just my 2 cents.

I still haven't found any antlers! It's April already... very very sad year.
