Dad's got another Point Blank at the shop he's not using since he bought a Bowtech Pro 38. Of course, I'm a little skiddish after today. I may talk some smack to sealblow for his Hoyt. We all know Hoyt makes the best bows!
My wife was inside and heard the bow when it broke. She stepped outside to find out what the racket was. I was at full draw when it happened. My arrow still made it the distance to the target.

That's actually a thin piece of felt cloth wrapped around the foam insert. It sorta came loose from years of putting arrows in and out.

your right elk; i wouldn't put my darton in the same catagory as a mathews. my darton is a far superior bow for less money

ok so they're a little pricey, but they are damn good bows. and i would give 1500.00 for 750.00 mathews before i would give 750.00 for a 1500.00 darton.

Well I ain't bragging but almost 30 years ago I bought my first bow, a PSE. Archery wasn't like it is today and the only guy around that sold them did it in the evenings out of his basement. A couple years later he opened a shop and I went in to buy the new and improved PSE. He told me to keep what I had and to go out scouting instead of setting up a new bow. I eventually killed a couple deer with it and 10 years later I bought another PSE. I killed a bunch of deer with it and use it now to shoot fish with because about 10 years or so ago I bought a PSE thunderbolt. It still works great and I really don't think I will kill a deer with a $1000 bow I can't kill with my $200 thunderbolt. I just spend all my money on cameras now.

I asked her how it was that she bought such a nice bow for her hubby and he never shot it....she didn't reply

How 'bout this one:
I walked into a police department and asked, "What smells so good?" to which the dispatcher replied, "We're grilling suspects out back."
Or this one:
The wife yelled to me that the invisible man was at the door. I told her, "Tell him I can't see him right now."
