what do u use what type of gun and what type of ammo i like my H&R 12ga with 1oz slugs cause i get more range with them then with 000 buck shot

Tight spots I take out the 11-87 with 3"000 and for the oaks I use the Slugmaster 512 with .300 Grain Collet Cup Sabot Slugs .

Mossberg 500 with the muzzleloader barell for muzzy season. 1300 winchester topped with a bushnell 1.75 - 4 with lightfield slugs for deer in shotgun country.

I shoot an old Stevens model 67 in 16 gauge.
It originally was a 30 full choked gun but
4 inches have been removed and the choke cut out of it
leaving it a 26 inch cylinder bore.
The thick top plate has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount.
and a Simmons 3x9x40 brings the deer in close
It holds a nice group using 2 3/4" Brenneke Magnum Rifled Slugs

Wow, this is an old post brought back to life.
All Remington 870's here. Wingmaster for birds, synthetic 3" mag with Winchester Partition Gold sabots for deer and another 870 with an extended magazine for work.

Mossberg 9200 Semi-Remington Copper Solid Sabot slugs 2 3/4"
Mossberg 835 Pump-Federal Barnes Expanders 2 3/4"

you can see the size of the hole the Brenneke Slug will leave
