Now, how exactly can you claim to be an expert if you think those mass produced commrecial cams are as good as a homebrew ?

What makes him an expert.....
I guess the same thing that makes those people wearing the doctor uniforms on television "experts".....
Because the tv says they are.
It's much better to never claim to be an expert at anything. Sure makes trips to the courtroom easier when you don't have to defend your "expert" status to defense attorneys. Because like the original question asked, what exactly does make one an expert??????? Easy to pick that one apart.
Now if the commercial would have stated he was an outdoor enthusiast with extensive experience using trail cameras........ This topic wouldn't even be talked about.
I wondered the same thing lug when I saw the commercial.

I guess being an "Outdoor Writer" makes you an expert. He is on the Cudde Back Pro Staff. Go figure.. I love how he has all those cameras setup and then runs by them all just to show trigger speed. Wonder why they only do it for one and not two in a row

.....??

Like my pappy said,
"Better to remain quite and be thought an idiot then to open your mouth and remove all doubt."
Ok, I think it was mark Twain...
He's an expert because he calls himself an expert.
You know he probably can't even replace the batteries in one of those units.

Something I find funny about that commercial is that all the pictures are the same. If you placed all those cameras up like that the trees would be in different places in the pictures.
