Hello everyone i am new here and i sure hope someone will be albe ot help me out. i have never been able to use deer feeders before and now that i can i have purchase some from moultrie feeders. i know i should use a chain to hang them with so no animals can chew thru the rope. but i am wondering if there are any other ways to hang them? i was thinking about a pulley system so my buddy who is older can fill them by himself if he would like. a couple pics of how you all have them hanging would be real nice. also do you just hang it from a limb or do you make a clothesline pole (for lack of better words) type thing to hang it from. please any help would be appreciated.

back when i had feeders; my dad and i would hang a block (pulley) from a branch in a tree and just hoist it up. we used rope and never had any problem with anything chewing on the rope. sorry, i don't have any pictures though

We used to mount a winch on a long section of steel pipe with a pulley/wheel on the end. Lay it thru the fork of tree and drive T-post in ground to secure...like a giant fishing pole!
