i took a picture of these tracks shortly after the turkey crossed the road infront of me. i found that by looking at one track i could tell by how the sand displaced by the turkey, the turkey was looking to the left as i approached in my truck. all of the tracks were slightly deeper on the left side of the track. i can also see the slight variations in direction by the way the sand kicked out of the track by the foot gaining more traction in one area to make that slight turn.
