I purchased this bow around x-mas time last year. Everything has worked fine and I believe this is a very decent bow for the cost. I did not turn the poundage down during the off season. When I began to shoot again for the upcoming season the string sounds much louder when I shoot then I remember. I have limb savers, string leeches, string loop, quality archery designs pro rest, and the new tru glow razor sight. Any suggestions?

My thoughts on string silencing aren't all that popular with all the new leach type silencers but, old cheap cat whiskers from Wal-mart work awesome for me. Might lose a foot a second or two but it never is enough to be noticeable shooting and I target shoot to 60 all the time. I think the big thing is to trim them so they don't slap the buss cables too much and to get them good and snug on the string.

Have you given any thought to trying a string suppressor ?

Some have removed all the other string silencer with a suppressor on there bow.

you can get a Custom String Suppressor from www.meanvarchery.com
