ok im new to the whole "videoing your hunt" thing wacko.gif and im looking to buy a camera mount. what kind do you guys use and whats the best brand for the money. i saw the gorillas for 50 bucks but wasnt sure if it was worth it. and also how do you know if your camera will fit on the mount? are all of the mounts the same on the cameras?

I think the way the camera mounts is universal.

I made my own (here), but this looks pretty good for the money.

I have the Gorilla and it works fine. Not the best one out there but it gets the job done for the price. I don't do much self video anymore, kind of a pain in the ass to get the viedo up and running and on the animal, then worring about the shot at the same time. A buddy in the tree with you is the best way to go. The Gorilla I have will accept any cam with a tripod mount I believe.

thanks guys thats what i wanted to hear. you did a good job on yours troy, im gonna go pick up the gorilla some time this week and make sure it fits then. 59.gif only 13 days away! tongue.gif
