I was watching a hunting program here recently and they talked about a spray on stuff that you can get for Fabric/Portable Hunting Blinds that stops rodents and various creatures dining on your blind should you leave it overnight. Problem was I only caught a snippet of the program - can anyone tell me what the stuff is they may have been talking about. I assume it was fairly scentless but was off-putting in terms of palatability! Your help is appreciated.

The way it looks, all that contains is a mixture of vegetable oil and peppers. Get yourself some jalepenos and habeneros, put them in a blender with some vegetable oil and grind them up. Then strain the mixture through a cloth and put it in a spray bottle. Save yourself $10.

you could even use that mixture to put on potatoe chips if you like the hot stuff

Many thanks for that. I'm thinking if that is all it is I could just as easly use my can of Bear Spray and just mask up and give it a coat of that. May smell tho don't you think?

I've wondered about the smell of this stuff too. Now I hate snakes with a passion but I wonder what a few fake ones laying around the outside of the blind would do to the rodents. The mice might just chew on them.
