i'm no master at this AT ALL, but i'll guess. they are worn down pretty good so i'll say 6 1/2 years old.

i'm useing my guides for jaw bone ageing and it looks slightly more worn than the 5 1/2 picture. unfortunatley my pics skip from 5 to 9 1/2 years old bag.gif
silbowhunter
Old enough to know better but young enough to do it again. tongue.gif

If you wouldn't have killed him.
firemedic5586
I didn't kill him,. According to Rose O, and the rest of the people that are anti 2nd amendment, it was my evil black rifle that did it tongue.gif .
lugnut
don't be so hard on Rosie; ahh, never mind, be as hard on her as you want. roflmao.gif biggrin.gif

I need to hire you Lug... 59.gif Think you are right on target with this one. tongue.gif 6 1/2 is where I'd put him. biggrin.gif

Here's a 5 1/2 to compare with. Note the added wear on the crests of all of the molars on FM's deer. One year of extra wear..equals 6 1/2.. cheers.gif

i would give up the military in a heartbeat to have your job Cap!! cheers.gif
firemedic5586
Thanks guys for your help.... Now I know how old he was when my 300WM went off all by its self and shot him through both lungs and his heart.
Lug What do you do for Uncle... I'm assuming the AF if your in NW FL.
While I'm asking, how about you Cap.
lugnut
jonny; i'm a radio operator onboard the MC-130P "combat shadow"

if i'm not mistaken Cap is a wildlife biologist.
firemedic5586
gotcha.. Thats a nice little base your stationed out of. I"ve gone TDY a few times just done the street from you @ Tyndal. How many YOS do you have in? I'm waiting on my E-7 then I will probably pull the pin. My Mrs says I'm to old to go out and play with the young bucks and I hate to say it but I'm one of the old farts now. We are getting kids in our shop now that I have more YOS then they have years of life... mad.gif
lugnut
i joined in 99 after a year of college. i'll roll over 9yrs this coming april. i'll be testing for E-6 this year for the second time. last years test was less than impressive bag.gif . Technical Sergant is a hard rank to make but i hear the pay increase is very nice biggrin.gif

what is that you do firemedic?
firemedic5586
I started out working as a flight line ape on F4D's in 85. Converted to 16's in 90. Saw one of the F4's I used to work on when I was TDY down @ Tyndal during the mid 90's. It was doing Drone duty... Now I'm a F16 Avionics Intermediate Shop weinie. I'm one of the back shop geeks that run avionics boxes on our test station computers.

I'ld say he is his harshest critic.

i would love to be on the maintainance side of the house. my job is very close to a comm nav job except i do the fixing in the air instead of on the ground.

are you guard or reserve or active duty? i'm trying to find a good guard unit that would except me bag.gif
firemedic5586
I'm guard. Was activated for a year after 911. Been to Iraq x2, have bounce around the globe now and then on TDY's. Its not to bad of a gig..... for a young guy.
lugnut
do you know of any openings for an AGR position there? i don't care what the job is. i would love to leave this active duty mess behind and get to a nice area and stay for the rest of my life. i'm tired of moving
firemedic5586
You have mail....

AGR around here are few and rare.... We have a base comander who has said there will be NO MORE AGR's. They have even threatened to fire a shop chief if he hired a person as an AGR.... bag.gif

So much for equal opertunity employer. I once tried to get employed up here full time, but nepetism won out and I never got hired mad.gif .... Looking back now I'm glad I'm not a full time Tech here. 59.gif
lugnut
that's interesting. i would think AGR slots would be incouraged sad.gif

sorry to hear about the ORI. we just got done with one and it was pure h@ll
