Heres a doe I shot today with the 2 blade range. 8 yard broadside shot. Very steep angle and I was on the ground ohmy.gif . I need to find me some flatter hunting areas. I had just set a cam up before I sat down and it was taking her pic when I shot her. Went in above shoulder, came out the arm pit. This is where she layed. She went about 50 yards. Blind man could have followed the trail.

What a bloody massacre!

Oh, congrats.

Thanks for the kind words fellows biggrin.gif This is the first deer I've shot with these. I have a friend whose killed 4 with these heads and all the endings have been the same. Huge entry and exit holes, gruesome blood trails, and very short recoverys. I had been using the snipers and they are very good heads as well but I think I will try these some more.

Troy most of the places I hunt have bears but you rarely see them cause there wild and hunted fairly hard. In this place they bring in "problem" bears like ones that people feed, go through garbage cans, ect. and there not to scared of humans. I had a friend shoot a doe year before last right before dark. He didnt know how good of a shot he made so we pulled out for a few hours then went back. When we found the deer there was already a bear on it and he didnt want to give up his free meal. Kept smacking his jaws together and bluff charging. So we went back to the house, grabbed a 7mm, called the game warden and told him the situation and said were going to get the deer one way or the other. We went back and he had done dragged her about 100 yards uphill still very pissed off but we got our deer. Wasnt planning on shooting him just had it for protection. We kept throwing sticks, rocks, breaking brush, yelling and he finally moved on. He hadnt ate much so all the meat was OK. But we've had our share of run ins with them so I like a little day light left when Im leaving by myself with bear bait tongue.gif

I have to call you a Liar.. 59.gif Everybody knows that there is noway a Rage could do this... Now a Slick Trick would have taken the Doe's head right off. Just ask them ove5r at "AT"... However I do believe that in reality you used one of these on the poor unsespecting deer.

In the mean time the rain has finally lifted (has rained for what seams like a month now) and I'm stuck working a 72hr shift. mad.gif

Hopefully I'll get out next week and use an Ax, I mean two blade Rage on a deer or two. biggrin.gif
