Well, my first Buck period. Haven't really done any hunting since I was younger. Went out with my dad on my wifes grandmas land. 30min. before dark this monster comes out trailing a doe. Thank god he came out when he did, I just could make out my front sight post on my 30/30. Have to say, what a rush! Killed him in north leon county north of tallahassee, fl

Don't really know, all we can think is he got it from fighting, or a close call with another hunters bullet or arrow. Not sure, just hoping the taxidermist can make it go away .

Onoe more question, can't y'all field dress the deer where you shot it? That guy in the photo to the left of you, looks like this guy Matt I used to know from Jersey who moved to Florida- is that Matt?

no man, that's my dad. he is only 17 years older than me. as for field dressing him, we were hunting about 200 yards from where we shot him. i went and got the truck and drug him 100 yards or less and loaded him up.
