I am finally going back to a peep with rubber tube aligner after many years. The last one I used had a plastic disc that stuck to the limb. I am going to set this one up by tying it off to the cable. Can anyone help me or post a picture of the best way to tie that off? Knot? Put in through the center of the string strands then tie it off? How far above the peep, etc? Thanks.

Why, if I may ask Lance, are you going back to that nasty tubing?!?!?!

I waste too much time truning strings, etc

What kind of string do you have? With the stock string on my XT it would twist a little. I put a Vapor Trail string on (about $40) took about half a dozen shots and then tied in my peep and it hasn't moved a bit. I have seen those tubes "pop" a few times. Would hate to have it happen when drawing back on a big ol elk out there!

I agree with Steve. Get a quality string and the tube isn't needed. Never had one on my Bowtech

I have a winner's choice and have not only struggled with that string but with the stock, my only worry is that I don't wear glasses and a lot of guys use them. I am a pretty fair bow tuner but I struggled to get mine to turn right, had a heck of a time. How are Vapor Trails compared to Winner's Choice?

Oh, is that $40 for the entire string system? When I got my winner's choice I had to get the strong and cable set up both

What kind of inline peep do you guys use? I think I had a Fletcher Peep then went back to a trio peep where you split the string 3 ways. Neither one worked perfectly for me so I decided to get the tubing peep.
