I'm thinking of changing over to a capture style rest.
This one has all the benefits of a Whisker Biscuit but none of the drawbacks

What do you think of it??

Looks interesting

I like my biskit

looks like a decent rest. BT puts out quality stuff so I dont think you can go wrong.

I replaced my biscuit with one of these while I was home (from Afghanistan) on leave last summer. I have not had enough time to really run it through its paces yet, but I initial impression is that it is not really an improvement. I was looking for two things out of this rest:

1. Reduced noise
2. Ability to use more offset in my fletch (or go to the Quick Spins)

I have found that it has not made my particular setup noticeably quieter (but certainly no worse). I have not yet tried a new fletch setup with this, but there is not that much room between the contacts that would allow for an aggressive offest. The Quick Spins should work great with this rest though.

Here is the one I use, very similar to the "Hostage".

I would not suggest geting the Hostage rest. My reasons are the bristles are a lot nosier than a whisker biscuit rest. They beat up your vanes pretty bad. I've notice they leave black marks on your vanes. A whisker biscuit is pretty much the best and most popular capture rest out there. I would suggest using the 2 inch blazer vanes though if you get it. They can withstand going through the whisker biscuit a lot better than normal 4 inch. Blazers are a lot more durable than any other vane that I have seen.

I have no marks on my arrows or vane wear from the Quik Tune and I forgot to mention gained 8-10fps vs wisker biscuit.

I ended up getting the Quicktune 360 off Ebay.

Hope it shoots well

Do you know if this rest can be made to work with an overdraw?
