haha alright, so my boyfriend and i set a goal for ourselves this year....which happens to be 10 sheds.
yesterday we went up north to check the cameras. not a single buck has his antlers! i think that last cold snap did'em in. So while out searching this morning i stumbled across shed #5 this year!! that puts us at our half way mark!

unfortunatly none of the sheds we have found are big at all. the one found this morning is an 8inch spike, but a shed is a shed! and still exciting to find...

so far we have been lucky enough to have trail cam pictures of all the deer we have found sheds from this year. though i hope the trend continues, we have been scouting around a bunch of new areas without cameras on them.... i hope to come across a few sheds at those places. lots of sign that larger bucks are in a few of those areas

That's not a shed...that's a knive handle!!!LOL Just kidding, great find. I've only ever found one spike shed. one of those days when I was feeling rejected heading back to the truck empty handed after walking my a$$ off, there it was laying in the grass right in the laneway. Keep at it!!!!!
