Of all the AR-15 style rifles (Bushmaster, Colt, DPMS, Armalite, etc.) which one in your own opinions is the best? Pretty much the best bang for your buck. I'll be using this gun for coyote hunting and target shooting. Thanks

I REALLY like the new R-15 by Remington. It comes in either .222 or .204 Ruger. Sweet looking rig too........camo dipped ! coolsmiley.gif It's on the Remington site, check it out. The suggested retail listed on the site is $999.

I had read on a site or two to go with the ABC's.

Colt
then Rock River Arms.

not in my opinion, since they make their lowers so that they take a different size connecting 'hole' ,
unlike the rest of the manufacturers............. they use to be the one to go with, but I think that they
are not the first choice any more for the civilian market.

but I am sure they make a decent product.

Picked up a RRA 20" Predator Pursuit after being out of the AR loop since the late '70s. These are much different rifles than those of yesteryear. From what I've seen and read all of the major manufacturers are doing a pretty good job - competition is a good thing. I've been more than pleased with this rifle. I don't do much paper shooting but stopped by the range to check my zero after hauling it around in the truck for a few weeks. This is five shots at 100 yds. with some Fiocchi 55 gr soft points.
