I got this turkey maybe 9 years ago. It has 1 1/2" and 1 9/16" spurs. I had a friend just starting in taxidermy try to do something with it. The wood base looks pretty crappy and the caps on the legs look downright cheesy.

Does anybody have any ideas to make this look any better? It deserves better.

i cant say i have ever seen mounted turkey legs. but your right, the caps look a little cheesy...the wood base you could try replacing or covering with moss? and as for the caps maybe get ahold of some smaller turkey feathers and cover the caps with em...? i dont have knowledge on this but i think it would look a little better.
