Heard a fellow talking about finding a jaw on a #2 trap broken off. I believe he's trying for fox, bobcat. Any idea what could have been the culpret.
Thanks, Mark

Only time I ever had a jaw break was trying to pull out cable stakes with my ATV. I have caught and held a lot of coyotes and even a few beaver with a #2 and none of them ever broke a jaw.

I dont have any experience with any tools yall use. I thought it was strange to hear that from 2 different people. No idea on their level of skill either.

A tractor or other farm equipment is all I can think of. I know you can buy parts for most traps for repairs also.
