it was my opening day and i went turkey hunting.

We set up 100 yards from 4 birds... They gobbled at every peeep we made haha :-)

Then i yelped and a bird gobbled and it sounded like he was right beside me..... eeem and he... was... Kinda :)

he was actually 50 yards away on the roost and i watched him for 20 minutes then i watched as all the birds, including him flew down. he went right and the other birds went......... mmmmm i dunno, but they did fly down! :-). When they hit the ground, they didnt gobble much except for 7 or eight times. When i finally decided they had went with hens, i left for breakfast, and came back at 12pm to try and call some back againn.

I set up in a small 80 yard long field and put out an upright hen and a feeding hen decoy.

I called and waited, called an waited.. then a hawk started calling and i heard a gobbler below me about 150 yards away. I yelped real loud and put down the call and pulled up my gun and waited. Then I got a text from one of my friends asking me what i was doing, and as soon as i hadd answered him and got my gun back up, i look across the field and see 2 long beards, full sttrut cresting the hill. I give them a few clucks and soft yelps with my mouth calll and they just sit there and strut. They both gobbled once and then they turned walked around and walked towards me aggain.

Theyy got to 45-50 yards, a little to far for me, and left.... no kill today butt a great say nonetheless.

The audio sucks, tturn your volume up and get the sound of a gobble in your head to heear them

This evening i callled in a hen and 5 does :) can't wait till wednesday so i can go again,

We went in the evening and couldn't make one talk to save our butts-
A guy near us fires up his motrcycle and shocks one @ 50 yds from us and
bout scared us to Death --- Funny how that works HUH

yeah man. Yesterday evening, to begin witth, i couldn''t get him to gobble, until a guy's lawn mower back fired.... then he gobbled lol. i got up and went to him, sat down, yelped and a hen cut me off with a cutt, 45 yards away down in a hollow, and he gobbled again.

You might try moving away from them when they hang up like that. It doesn't always work but sometimes it does. If you go toward them they might think the hen is coming to them so there is no need for them to move.
