well yesterday was opening day for us. i used my bow and all i had come close enough was was 2 hens. i saw 4 hens and a jake though.
my dad ended up bagging a nice bird though.

Thats a nice one. Tell him congrats! My dads buddy shot a 23# bird with 1 7/8" spurs and 11"beard last night. Ill be going over there one day this week to check it out.
