Hey guys I am looking for a light set up to run around elk country with. I am thinking about Lone Wolf's Assault and some ladder sticks. Does anyone have this stand? Any other stand that is light enough to hit the high country with?

I have an Assault and the sticks and they are better IMHO than any other carry-in-out stand I've used. I'm not counting climbers as I see them as a different group all together. I see now that Lone Wolf has shorter tree sticks and I think those might be even better yet.

I am thinking of hanging the stand then just packing the sticks, rather than packing a climber all over...is it a comfy stand?

It's comfy for its size. You know, a guy might consider the regular Lone Wolf hang on (Alpha) if you're going to leave it hang and pack the sticks. I only have the Asault because of its smaller size and tear drop shape.
