Hey guys, I have been playing around with lighted nocks using the bobber lights. I have had marginal luck with getting them to work consistently. However, when they do work I love them. I may just suck it up and get some commercial ones. Anyone have any experience with lumenoks or similar others? How long do the batteries last in terms of shots? Can you replace the battery? Should you practice with them or use some other nock like a GT, not necesarily the same as in the lumenok. let me know. Thanks

I've used the Lumenocks for the last 2 years and pratice with them too- Battt life is suppose to be like 30-40 hrs continuous but they last for sevral years if you just practice and turn em back off- They're OK I guess for the $$$$$$

I made my own last year using the bobber lights as well and they worked fine for the first dozen shots or so and after that itd be tough to get them to come on sometimes. Not sure if i did something wrong or the glue didnt hold up or what but im going to try a different way this year because i do like to watch them fly at dusk. If it dont work ill probably just buy the luminoks.

I think the key for me was the friction of the end of the battery in the arrow, it sounds like some of the other ones use some kind of contact, when the nock goes all the way in the arrow shaft. I hear good things about Firenock but I am very interested in the Easton Tracer. I saw a thread somewhere, here or AT, where a guy was talking about making ones with the wiring as opposed to the bobber light. I think, but now can't remember.
