Planted two, small, woodland food plots and they're doing very well with all of the rain, had to tame back some of the weeds, ferns and grass today.

They don't seem to be hitting them at all. They like walking around in it, but I've only gotten a few pictures of them actually eating it. huh.gif

There is so much food out there right now for deer to browse on it's crazy. They're probably hitting one of their faves right now, young popple leaves. I've watched them walk right through my plots without touching a thing, then feed on the little trees along the edge.

Had a doe at the feeder yesterday evening but they haven't even been touching that for a while now either. Of course I didn't have the cam set up. The doe and fawn have been haning around pretty close to the house. I'm feeding crows and rabbits soybeans at $14 a bag rolleyes.gif

Yup lots of stuff for them to eat. With all the rain there are plants coming up that were dormant for a couple years. Do like Captiveone said give it a shot of fertilizer and I would bet they will start hitting it . Also if you have any type of brassica in your mix they might not hit that until after it freezes.
