Guys I can't decide what hang on treestand I want to get. I want something light, not a climber. I am thinking about the Lone Wolf but I hear they might not be the best for a long sit. I have heard a bit about Millennium. What do you guys spend all day in?

Sorry this should be in the treestand forum...

I have a couple hang on's Lance and I wouldn't want to spend all day in either one. I can't remember what kind they are but I think one is an API. Climbers are so comfortable, why don't you want a climber??? Weight?
LSmountainman
I am thinking weight and some of the trees are not the straightest. But, the main issue is weight and packing it in and out everyday. I would like to get it hung and leave it there. Just for argument sake, what climber are you using and how much does it weigh approximately?

Here is the Millennium Stand I am not opposed to a climber if it is the right one. I am going to have to pack around climbing sticks too...

As far as hang on stands go, I haven't found a one that is actually comfortable to sit in all day...climbers on the other hand are a different story. I have the Summit Broadhead (they stopped making them this year, or they aren't on the site anyways). That thing is SO comfortable that it is hard to stay awake in...LOL. In my honest opinion, the Summit climbers can't be beat.

I had a summit a long time ago and may revisit them again. I want either a hang on or climber...I had a ladder stand and sent it to the boys in MN because I didn't want to provide a stand for other hunters to sit in and kill my elk out of!

Just got this link from a dealer for Millennium climber $349...looks awesome. So, what Summit is a good one? I kinda like the open shot but want one that I can relax in for the long wait...
