hey guys i was wondering were the best place to setup is during early season bow hunting. our season starts here sept 27. my options are on a bean field on a powerline trail leading to the bean field or a trail that they take back to an open spot where about 6-8 trails meet

I'd take the latter. Increases the odds.

It is all about food. Keep in mind your exit if you do hunt a field edge. Does not make much sence to run the deer off when you leave, so set back with a woods exit usualy works best. Your deeper option sounds good especialy for ealier activity.

I would stay away from the field. The deer are more likely to "stage" in an area back in the woods and then come out to feed later in the day or at night when it starts to cool.
Another great option for early season is to find some water.

You don't give a whole lot of info... I assume you are after mature bucks. I have taken a good number of early season bucks, and I do so by hunting very close to the bedding area where they move in daylight.
