I trap woodchucks here in Mi. same trap as pictured except I built a box out of plywood slide trap in box about 6-8" sticks out (at door side) I catch woodchucks, racoons, a few rabbits and even acouple skunks without any bait I believe they think its a colvert?? Works for me.
