If some of the names & content don't make sense, it's because I just copied from another site I post to. Sorry for being to lazy to edit.

:rof2:

Considering how crappy this year has been for plotting with all the excessive rain, I'm absolutely ecstatic about how most of my plots are turning out. A little disapointed in my sunflowers, but it has been an awesome year for beans. Them things are waste high & plumb full of blooms.

This is a commercial mix that Hoytshooter got donated to MWT to help raise funds. I just can't remember the name of it. Hopefully someone will chime in with that info.

I've been pretty skeptical about how well it's been doing all spring. Now that it's finally quit raining, this stuff is taking off & doing great. I've got one patch that's probably about an acre. As you can see, there were still some sunflowers in the drill. I also took this same mix & run the outside row of 2 big RR soybean plots, then made strips running across the plots. Again, was pretty skeptical because of all the weeds that were coming into the areas since I couldn't spray them.

Here's another pic of the mix. Weedy, yes, but there is an awful lot of forage in there as well. The weeds haven't out competed the beans.

Same mix, but this one is around the edge of a RR bean plot. Lot's of beans growing amidst the foxtail.

RR beans with some volunteer corn from last year.

More vining bean mix

Half acre sorghum/milo plot. Not headed out yet, but it shouldn't be long. Yeah, I know there's some cuckleburr in there. Bet the deer don't mind. :rof2:

A good example of how the beans vine.

Nothing like mixing plot seed, huh? I was using my clover in the drainage as a home base the day I planted. I didn't realize the drill was down when I took off. Actually getting a pretty good stand.

Vining bean mix bumped up against sunflowers.

Now for the sunflowers. Like I said at the beginning of this thread. I'm disapointed is the stand, but I bet the birds still come into them & benifit from me planting them.

Thanks for taking the time to wait for all the pics to load.
