Actually, I did know you got a new bow. I've been stalking you for quite some time now...

Really though, nice bow. I shot one when they came out and they are sweet. Not sweet enough to give up the Switchback XT, but still pretty sweet.

It's a string suppressor that is threaded in to the rear stabilizer hole on your riser. The one you have kind of looks like a MeanV, but I see a STS logo on it near the riser.

Some guy makes the MeanV and sells the damn things from his home and is going to retire off the proceeds. I know between myself and about 6 of my buddies we've helped with his retirement fund. I heard he shows up on all the homebrew boards once in a while. I wonder who he is...

Yeah that would be a rear mount STS in Realtree HD.

I didn't even know STS started making rear mounted String suppressors ?

Regardless it's still to muc added to the bow with the plastic block they use (IMO).





MeanV (Dan) isn't on homebrew sites, he has never even built a homebrew trail camera.

But he does have a few of them.



MeanV CSS

Looks the same as my STS. I'm pretty sure the piece on the end is not made out of plastic. They've been making rear mounts for a long time.

Not meaning to rip on you I'm sure all the string suppressors work equally well.
I just prefer the clean look of the CSS, no block needed.
