As I was practicing today I was thinking of the different tips I have received over the last few years about practice.
This time of year I change my routine from fundamentals to hitting the spot. Today I had multiple targets set up at unknown ranges and wanted an arrow on the spot on every target on the first shot. From my deck I pull back hold at full draw for at least 10 seconds as I pan in my imaginary 200" buck walking in. I will switch my panning from right to left then vise versa.
I also have stuffed a bag in an old tire then had a friend roll it as I shot. Then we would switch. A lot of fun but I do not always have two people.
Oh I should tell you I do multiple bow hunts from stalking to a stand. My targets vary from 10 yards to 60+
What ways do you practice?
