Maybe somebody has an idea I got a tru glo sight for my browning shotgun and it requires that I take the front sight off, I can't get it off for nothing !!! what is the trick?

I ended up crushing the bead on mine and had to use a small drill to start hole on through the stuck screw. Then used a same size tap to clean out whatever was left of the old screw and clean the threads. I think they use Loctite on them.

May I suggest a clip on front sight? The front bead may very well be soldered in place require a little heat to set it free.

Not sure about the browning but most have a very small nut you can put a very small wrench on firectly under the bead. If not I would use some type of pliers very gently

Good luck

I have a tru-glo sight on my Rem. 1100 and just mounted it behind the front bead. Works fine. Most front beads just screw off.
