I was up in Maine moose hunting last week with my buddy and he tagged out on this awesome moose. He dressed out at 864lbs. It took him over twenty years to get a tag. This was a great hunt, we had a lot of fun. When we came up to this moose he was fighting with another great big bull. What a lot of noise to big bulls can make. They we only 75 yards off the road but couldn't see them very well but sure could hear them. My buddy went in after them and with all the excitement he forgot to chamber a shell and lost his first shot at one. 20 minutes later he walked out to the road and he turned around and the moose was following him. He let him have it right there. We had a great time.

That is just awesome and after 20 years of waiting he deserved that big boy! Congrats to your buddy and it sounds like a hunt of a lifetime!

Nice bull and a cool story. I've never not chambered a shell.
