I shoot a Bowtech Allegiance at 62 pounds. I have a whisker biscuit. I wondered what would be the best arrow for this set up and what the best type of fletchings to put on? Any experienced archers know a good setup for accurate shooting and good kills?

What do you want to spend per dozzen is one of the biggest factors.
A good middle price arrow is BlackHawk Vapor Pro Series, PSE Radial x-weave and Carbon Express Terminator Lite.
I hate to say it but we sell an arrow by Crabon Express that retails at less than $65.00 a dozzen that shoots very well.

Would gold tips work good? With blazers or aerovanes?

I still like 4" duravanes, but many people with biquits like blazers because they are short/stiff and will ripple less.
The arrows I was referring to that we sell for $60.00 shipped fletched with blazers are Carbon Express Predator II. Shoots quite well for an economical arrow.
Goldtips are good. We sell mostly Expedition Hunters. Very Durable.

I shoot GoldTip Pro Hunter and love them. I tried blazers and some of the others but I keep coming back to 4" vanes and love them. I used to shoot them out of a whisker biscuit and they shot great. I now have a drop away and still shoot the 4".

Still undecided but the 4" sounds like it's preferred over the blazers, not sure, either gold tips or those predators sound about right, thanks for the advice

vanes are personal choice, lots of guys love blazers and use them. I like to fletch my own arrows and have had nothing but trouble with blazers but for as much trouble as I have had you'll find guys that have an easy time. I don't like the bitzenburger fletcher, I use the AZ EZ fletch with 4" vanes and it works for me. Experiment!

I shoot blazers and I'll never switch back. Everyone I know shoots blazers and 99 % of the people I help at work shoot blazer vanes also. I've been using them for 3 years now. Personally I like the Easton Axis N-Fused Carbon arrows. They are skinny, but very tough shaft that has awesome penetration. I've accidently shot on through a 2x4 once and the arrow didn't even get damaged. I've shot gold tips and the arrows just didn't work for me. They weren't very durable for me and I will never try them again. I had the XT hunters. The only arrow that I'll shoot other than the Easton Axis would be a Carbon Expres Maxima, because I've always had great flight with them. They also seem to be very durable.
