Kansas
I hunted in KS from Nov. 1st to the 12th. The first 6 days the wind did not stop blowing from 20 to 40 mph and it got as hot as 82 degrees. Once the weather changed I started to see some nice bucks passing up a couple in the 140's. It was on the 10th that I had 5 different bucks chasing a doe around me. This wierd non typical came off the hill next to me and I took the shot a 15 yards. He is not a monster but he looks real cool. I have no idea how to score this deer so not sure what he will gross for the contest. Looks like I will have to enter my NJ buck I killed.

That is a very cool buck.
Would you have some other pictures from other angles you could post?

I don't have any other pics from different angles. I am trying to get a video from a guy that taped him the night before I shot him 1 mile away. He does have an 8 inch base on the right side. He also had another main beam that was broke off at the base.

WOW. What a nice and crazy looking buck. He would score well if you could figure out how to score him.

Awesome, gnarly buck teammate!

He is a great one1 Just score both racks and add them together as it almost looks like two different sets of antlers one inside of the other. Oh, wait your not on my team then subtract the bigger one.LOL!

Kansas, to score that buck you need to pick ut the main beams, looks like the outside ones, he's a basic 2x2 from what I can tell. You will measure the beam circumferences by taking the smallest measurement between the burr and first point. On the left side you would add that measurement twice, then take the next circumference halfway between the point and beam tip and add that one twice, on the right you would do the same.

Regardless of number of points, there are always 4 circumference measurements taken.

As for the other points, you have to determine the main points and draw lines for the "kicker" bases as if they did not exist, then measure the kickers.

Here is a score sheet to use for adding everything...

or you can print the P&Y sheet.. http://www.pope-young.org/pdfs/ScoreSheets...cal_r6-2008.pdf
