Hey y'all. I am trying to put my friend on a decent buck...
I was out at his place scouting today and i found something interesting. I walked down a trail to a pond and theres 2 whiteoaks that dropped loads of acorns earlier this year.... there was 2 rubs around the tree. I walked back behind the pond, to the swampy area, and there was a rub on almost every tree on the edge of it, along with what I think was a scrape, but i couldnt find a licking branch but i may have missed it.
Could this be this bucks core area?
Would you set up and hunt here?
