The story:
Thought you would like to see this deer killed in Bladen County on
Saturday by an 11 yr. old boy from Clayton. He and his father were
still hunting a field off of Burney Ford road near Clarkton. This was
his first deer! Congrats to the father who was sitting with his son
and let him shoot him. One shot with a 30-30 rifle.
21 pointer, double main beam, drop tine, split brow tine, you name it!
Deer weighed 160 lbs. and looked to be a fairly young deer. Tommy
scored him at 189 5/8 non-typical.
