missed a huge deer tonight. i was siting there and all of a sudden i look behind me and 5 feet away there he is starin right at me. he trots off gets about 7 yards away stops and right when im about to shoot takes off after a doe i got a shot off but missed he was goin to fast. well im not upset techinally this is my first year out in the woods bymyself and that was my first miss ever so im not goin to complain because im only 16 and i have many more years of this amazing sport left for me

Yep been hunting most of my life and I missed a doe on Thursday evening myself. She was like 20 yards and I shot right over her back. Checked my gun and I was 2 inches high. Corrected and then took a 9 point on Saturday afternoon.
