My son Kade and I hurried home to sneak a quick hunt in the ground blind tonight. Lucky we did because this guy walked into the filed at last light. I only got him once on camera. His left hind leg was broken at the ankle.....folded over like.....
Kade saw him first and gave me the arm squeeze and whispered here comes a big buck.. I laughed and thought he was joking as we both do in the blind to keep each other on his toes.... When I saw him I was amazed as for the last two weeks things have been very slow around the field. He gave me a good shot (took him a while though) and I made a nice hit. Kade led the tracking with me, mom and uncle Dave in tow....
The best part of it all is that Kade was with me and we shared this amazing moment together!!!!!

that makes any hunt a 100 times better when you have your little ones with ya. congrats on a nice buck and make sure you keep Kade in the woods, he will be a life long hunting partner.
