Looks good Shedego. Eye work looks good. Did you use Modge podge to build up the texture on the nose?

Willy - Finish work includes painting around the eyes and building up the nictitating membrane (I think thats what you call it, the membrane in the front corner of the eye). Some people put it in and others choose not to. Also painting and building up the texture on the nose pad and bottom lip if need be. And last but not least, adding a touch of pink to the ears and inner nostrils...
Epoxy - yessir, I used modge podge.
thanks fellas!

Excellent work shed. I saw a pure white squirrel today while squirrel hunting, couldnt get a shot, but the thought did cross my mind tha if I killed him he'd be packed in dry ice and shipped to MN, You do good work

Hey Shed just thought I would give one more little tip. After painting around the very inner part of the eye next to the glass with a thin line of black, put a coat of gloss over that and it gives the eyes that wet tear look like the eye is wet and real. Also if the modge podge dries and still leaves some white areas you can paint the nose pad with black and give it a light coat of gloss to give it the cool wet look.

Travis - Haha well I hope that white squirrel knows it has its future hanging in your room!...that is, if he shows himself again.
Epox - thats a great idea, Im going to have to do that.
As for the nose, I just blended it with clear gloss. It looks lighter in the picture because the flash was reflecting off of the clear coat.
But next time I do want to get the nose pad a darker shade.

Elk - thats my plan. Just sold my raccoon mount on ebay too.
helps out with school payments.
besides, what im going to school for doesnt pay the best. So a side job such as this isnt a bad way to go. (something to keep in mind anyways).
but I still need to practice, practice, practice!
hmm...I should start on a price list huh! :)
