What does a shoulder mount cost now day's

Last one I had done two years ago was $450, a little high priced for around here but the quality of the work was worth every penny.

$485.00 + tax

its common to see price directly corresponding to quality of work.
so more times than not, you get what you pay for.

however, this is NOT always the case.
Ive seen some high quality work for low prices.

Have to agree with you on that one Shedego. I had a guy that could have done my last one for $350 but I know the guy who mounted it for $450 and know his work very well. He also moved mine up in front of some others since we were friends. He also mounted my Black bear mount. I would not have asked him to lower his price just because we were friends though. He still has a large taxidermy business to run. I could have done it myself for about $175 but I have gotten rid of most of my tools over the years. That "hobby" was taking too much time away from my hunting and fishing.
