My first trip was GREAT! Many bears seen deer, wolf, turky,had many shot opertunities and took 2 but no bear.but was very happy with my performance and the guide service.
My second trip NO BEARS SEEN! in stand,Sighted two while drving around Two wolf pups and plenty of pine martins,Our guides had been fighting with other customers in the past week's of the season and I think it carried over. We did get treated poorly. We were sleeping in a 12x 12 shed no tv no bathroom no kitchen,The guides had 5 small dogs with them and s**t all over, little if any baiting and I am sure bear's dont like the smell or dog's period.We cuold not take this treatment any longer so we chose to leeve. And we would be 3 men in there 40's & good woodsman & archers.
I asked for my money back and got told it was my fault...
Not too happy what action would any of you take????

post the name of the guiding company so they don't get business...word of mouth and good references are a guides main way of advertising. If they don't do a good job then others need to know so they don't spend their money there

I know I would not go without food for the 6 days and 7 night you were there.

I know you paid partial for a 5 day hunt and hunted 6 days and stayed 7 nights.

I know I would not go without a shower for 7 days and I know you did not.

I know YOU watched TV everyday along with the basketball game.

I know you did not bring any thermacell, bug suite or spray of anysort and we gone out of our way to make sure you had something to use.

I know the two people you were with seen multiple bears each and took a shot each with a miss and a wound with one of them being a very old friend of mine.

I know that your hunting partner showed up without any money of anysort.

If you want to tell a story, please tell the entire story and be truthfull.

This guy has it right down to the basketball game... Seems that both sides of the story were now told... I'm glad to see both sides elaborated but neither party collaberated with one another. Which might be the next step if this thread is taken out of context.

Yes please tell the truth.
We did shower.
We did eat food some that was brought by us.
We dont like baskett ball.
One guy seen by 2 bears becouse of K-9 oder.
One guy shot a bear that was taged by your dad.
We got pushed around bullied and verbaly abused.
I had a bug suit and thermocell & bug spray.
You did let me try out one of yours but I could not see well out of the hood mesh.
As for the boat we could use well you know.
I will inform the other parties and the owner of the lodge about this site and then we will tell the true story.....
And you were paid in full from me.

I am truly sorry you feel this way but you and your dad need to learn that the truth can hurt sometimes.
I will contact all other parties and they will add to this post and the people will decide.
Bears dont like dogs and when a person pay's for a service that's what they expect.
So let's not turn this into mechination,I do not want to see any other good sportsman get taken for a ride..
