Well, did finish work on MN_Whitetails little buck with busted antlers....ear butts are a little longer than id like, but overall he turned out well.
also just monted my first coyote...enjoy.



Theres actually more of a pink tone in his nostrils, but the flash washed it out.




And the yote...I have another yote tanning right now...

wow shed, them look great. did you take classes or just do it on your own? i was thinking about ordering a der kit next year and trying it myself

This is Shedego talking...im logged on to MN_Whitetails name...

Nope, no classes. Just alot of practice and learning. I ordered a deer kit for my first mount. Honestly, it confused me more than anything. Personally, I would just order the supplies separate..and learn the steps. Taxidermy.net is probably the most helpful for this. Its full of answers!..they have a beginner section too. Just be sure to look up your questions before you ask them. alot of the topics have been discussed or answered many times before.
