Went shed hunting today. Found no sheds, but I did find this 10 point on the edge of a corn field. I bet somebody was upset when they couldn't find this guy!

Very nice. I look every year. My cousin found a basket 8 pointer back in december laying in a spot i check yearly, so i woulda found that one if he hadn't found it first haha.

Think you will find they only chew on them if they are truely shed and they will not chew on them if they are still attached to the skull

If I wasn't so lazy, I go to my garage and snap a picture of one to prove that theory wrong. I found a 1.5 year old 8 last spring that was almost completely gone on one side (the other side was chewed up, too).

I have a set of antlers that my dog drug up a few years back with squirrel chews on the tips of the antlers.
