With turkey season a couple months away, i want to get my birds as comfortable on my land as possible.

They are MIA right now, i have only seen them twice this month.

I have a feeder set up filled with chicken scratch feed and shelled corn.... and they won't touch it, or even come in the area???

What can i do to attract them in?

I have had better luck with black oil sunflower seeds than corn or scratch feed.

i may try that.... there was a hen 45 yards away when i checked my cam yesterday but no turkey pics....

I watched the birds with my own eyes yesterday walk and feed 20 yards from my corn before going to roost
