Red fox running that I just finished...







And heres a pic for ya'll to enjoy. canines get "nice" green bellies if they arent frozen right away. something to do with enzymes in their stomach breaking down. And the smell is horrible. The fellow Im mounting a few yotes for brought me 4 yotes, and with temps being so warm lately they didnt freeze up right away. the end result...Me spending from 2pm -10pm skinning these lovely dogs. atleast they look and smell pretty once they are mounted!

Thanks. And yep, my dad just cut down a nice poplar tree (is that how you spell it?) so he brought me a few logs home. So this fox is now on a nice white poplar log. Actually looks really nice against the white. Ill get a pic soon.

Alright, here he is with the base.

Just recently saw a fox mounted that way with a rabbit in its mouth. The hind legs together and in the same position. Obviously that is one of the available taxidermy forms. Yes!
