I was out in the woods in front of the house this afternoon walking around, and i decided i would walk down a trail i had cut through a thicket of scrub pines back in December. I had already walked the trail once this year and didn't see anything on it, or off to the side of it... so I wasn't expecting to find anything. As soon as i stepped into the trail i happened to look right off the trail about 3 feet from my foot and laying between 2 scrub pines was this shed. A squirrel or other critter had drug it between those 2 trees since the last time i walked the trail. It is from last year, a little rodent damage, but still a good find!

Yup. its a record year for me, and i haven't even looked at my lease yet, im gonna walk around there on wednesday and thursday while turkey hunting.
Duke, yeah, squirrels and mice can sure do some damage to antlers, if you find them in a field they wont be chewed nearly as bad but if the antler is dropped in the woods, you have a time limit that starts ticking down as soon as it hits the ground, aha!
