I had the opportunity to handle a 2.75" 460 S&W Magnum today. I did not shoot it but "ouch" was the first thing I though when I put it in my hand. I'M sure some 45 colts would be nice but a full house 454 casull or 460 S&W Mag has got to hurt in this gun. I bet the muzzle flash would blind everyone within 20ft. It might be safer to load it with some 360 grain Buffalo Bore ammo and throw the gun to the bad guy. I took a picture of it beside my XD40 for comparison. Looks like something from a comic book.

If you threw that one at Superman, I bet it would hurt him.
