Got a couple of plots planted this weekend with soybeans. I planted a mix of several maturity groups so I should have some green right up to the 1st frost but still have good bean production for the winter. I also planted a strip of RR corn to screen the veiw from neighbor's field. It started raining last night and is suppose to rain until Thursday morning, perfect timing. The 1st 2 pics are of a 2 1/2 acre plot from each direction.

The next 2 pics are of a 3/4 acre strip in each direction. Hope this doesn't get wiped out. I don't have a real large population of deer. It should be OK.

The last pic is the strip of RR corn for screening. I planted pine seedlings just to the left of it. Some of them are starting to get higher than the grass. A couple more years and they should do nicely for screening purposes

Those are going to turn out really nice. Man that strip looks like more than 3/4 of an acre, the deer are gonna be happy. coolsmiley.gif
