MY brother and I are thinking of taking a hunting trip. I know some of you have been on whitetail trips. We are looking for a nice place with descent bucks 140- 160 class without breaking the bank no 5000-7000 trip. Checked some online but thought I get your opinions.

Are you looking to go out of state or stay in? Guided or unguided? Enclosed or freerange? I went on a hunt for my graduation around Luther, MI and it was an awesome experience. If your like me, its more the experience of the hunt than it is the size (not to mention some of the bucks were $10,000 and up, crazy if you ask me). I was after a "management buck" which was 130" and under or one that the guide picks out (more than likely bigger than 130" but messed up rack). I can get you information if need be so let me know. It ran $2500 for a management buck so youve got options.

It was fun to do once and like i said i had a blast but ive always wanted to do an unguided bowhunt for caribou or black bear so maybe in 30 years or so ill be able to afford it haha
