I was using a climbing tree stand for the last couple years but I would like to get a ladder stand so it doesn't take as long to go up and down plus it won't be as loud.
What kind do you guys like?

Go to Dicks Sporting Goods and get one from there. I have about 15 ladder stands from there and I have never had any problems with them. Good quality and cost a lot less than the competitors.

i have 3 gorilla hang-on stands. I really prefer the hang-ons over the ladders just becuase of the height advantage but now even some ladder stands can get over 20 foot so its totally up to you. I havent had any problems with my gorilla hang-ons yet in the 2 years ive owned them.

I have 2 of these and for this price with the $50 rebate it's a steal.

I just got a Summit single shot magnum ladder stand and I set it up a couple weeks ago. I really like it and I am looking forward to use it this fall.

Homemade out of 2x4's. 16' ,24"x24" or 24"x30" platform. A little heavy getting up but nice.
