Archery Hunter 24
Looking for a scope that is recommended to help my 8 year old see better that is visual impaired and has no vision in his left eye and 20/200 in the right eye... he passed hunter safety and is looking forward to hunting whitetail with me in Washington this fall... we would like a higher powered scope with the greatest field of view and the largest objective to mount on his Ruger 243 rifle... we would appreciate any recommendations from anyone who has experience in helping the visually impaired with finding the right rifle scope for them to help enhance what they can see in the field...
thanks for your help, Kevin

All things equal a fixed scope will transmit more light than a variable.

And you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that will say anything bad about a Leupold 6x42
